1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Stress Assessment Tool ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Stress Assessment Tool ("we," "us," or
"our").
2. Description of Service
The Stress Assessment Tool is a self-assessment educational platform that:
- Analyzes self-reported stress patterns based on questionnaire responses
- Provides personalized stress profiles and evidence-based intervention protocols
- Delivers a 7-day email sequence with stress management techniques
- Offers information about our Norway stress management retreat (July 2026)
This Service is NOT:
- A medical diagnosis or clinical assessment
- A substitute for professional mental health care
- Intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental health condition
- Supervised by licensed medical professionals
3. User Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be capable of forming a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and truthful information
If you are under 18, you may not use this Service.
4. Medical and Clinical Disclaimers
NO MEDICAL ADVICE:
- The Service provides educational content only
- Results are based on self-reported data and algorithmic analysis, not clinical evaluation
- The tool has NOT been validated by medical authorities (FDA, CE, or equivalent)
- Protocols are derived from peer-reviewed research but are NOT prescriptions
You Acknowledge That:
- The Service cannot detect serious mental health conditions (e.g., clinical depression, PTSD, anxiety
disorders)
- Self-assessment has inherent limitations and biases
- Results may not accurately reflect your actual stress levels or health status
- You should consult a licensed healthcare provider before making health-related decisions
Emergency Situations:
If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or severe mental health symptoms:

5. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Answer all questions honestly and accurately
- Not rely solely on the Service for health-related decisions
- Seek professional help if symptoms worsen or persist
- Use the information provided as educational guidance only
- Not misrepresent your identity or provide false information
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or manipulate the Service
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership:
- All content, algorithms, questionnaires, and protocols are proprietary
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission
- Your assessment results and PDF report are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only
User-Generated Content:
By submitting assessment responses, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use aggregated,
anonymized data for research and service improvement.
7. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated
into these Terms by reference. Key points:
- We collect email and assessment data only when you voluntarily submit it
- Data is stored securely in encrypted databases (Supabase)
- Email sequences are managed via MailerLite (GDPR-compliant)
- You may request data deletion at any time
8. Email Communications
By providing your email, you consent to receive:
- Transactional Emails: Assessment results, PDF report
- Educational Sequence: 7-day stress management email course
- Marketing Communications: Information about our Norway retreat and related offerings
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of results
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Health outcomes or decisions made based on assessment results
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Emotional distress or mental health deterioration
- Reliance on information provided by the Service
Maximum Liability: If liability is found, our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or
the amount you paid us (whichever is greater).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Violation of these Terms
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Health decisions made based on the Service
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms:
- Supabase: Data storage and backend infrastructure
- MailerLite: Email delivery and marketing automation
- Vercel: Hosting and analytics
We are not responsible for third-party service failures, data breaches, or policy changes. Your use of these
services is subject to their respective terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your access without notice for Terms violations
- Discontinue the Service at any time
- Modify features or pricing (with 30 days' notice)
Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data via xavier@inflowmotions.com.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of
the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
Material changes will be communicated via:
- Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Email notification (if you're subscribed)
14. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
Belgium. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of
your country of residence.
Informal Resolution: Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt
to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at
xavier@inflowmotions.com. We will try to resolve the
matter within 30 days.
Jurisdiction: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any disputes shall be submitted to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium. EU consumers may also bring proceedings
in the courts of their country of residence.
EU Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an online dispute
resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force
and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding
the Service.
